Sturgis, South Dakota — May 24, 2024— The eighth annual History Day, sponsored by the Sturgis & Meade County Historical Society, will be held Saturday, June 15, at the Sturgis Community Center. “1874 Custer Expedition: 150 Years of Exploration, Settlement and Exploitation” is the theme of the event this year.
The Sturgis & Meade County Historical Society is updating the original 1894 Meade County Courthouse Time Capsule, prior to reinterment. May 8, 2024
